So working on car find wet carpet behind drivers seat.
Can see the rear window black seal not line up with the door glass.
Tried the reset by holding all down up and individual, still cocked over, no change.
So do i need to strip the panels out to get to it.

Or do i need roof down first to reset?
Left pic drivers door. Right pic is tight pax. door.

Gummipflege all window seals thoroughly, work windows individually and then together.

(While you're at it, gummipflege any other rubber you can find. Then clean windows carefully.)

I think it needs re-setting with the roof down.
As it pushes up i think it's hit the rounded bit first and assuming that's the stop point.
With roof down it can only hit the door glass and stop.
If it ever stops raining!!
But why now gone squiffy?
Give it a try.

If not will have to strip.
Funny because always hear road noise in right ear and last month or so condensation on rear window.
Seat belt damp.

Tried reset today with roof down, made no difference.
Looks like got to strip panels off and see why it's not aligning.
Probably slipped as it moves more than passenger side.
Found some pictures of mechanism.

Few pics of other cars seem quite a gap.
My passenger side is tight fit with about 1/4 inch of rubber showing.
Drivers side about 1/2 inch at the top.
Hoping can be adjusted, was wondering if the cable stretches?

In one picture there is a beige what looks like bump stop broken.
Wonder if that helps keep glass in position and square fully down.

Got to mechanism, couldn't see how it could be adjusted.
Moved the the two white nylon stops up, made no difference.
So elongated some hole in the mounting plate and pushed all forward a few millimeters and a washer under bracket where held with bolt to tip it forward.
Now matches passenger side.
Why so far off a mystery.

In fact has it been off a long time?
