I’m having trouble finding a supplier for a blue heated wing mirror with backing plate. Everyone I seem to find has the heating element connector in the wrong place. My cable is located on the furthest part of the mirror from the car. All the one's I keep finding have the connector nearest the car. Anyone managed to find a supplier that has it in the correct place?

Mirror John doesn't do the wing mirrors glass for the e85. They do mention that bmw did change where the conectors are on some models after 2005 and they sell a kit to sort out the problem.

I have these on my 2007 (connection on the outer edge of the mirror). They aren't blue (they might do them though, I just don't like them, so worth checking their other listings), but the connection is in the correct place, and they do fit (despite having a different securing mechanism).

Ive ordered a set of the cable extensions ill see how i get on with them. Cheers
