Up for sale are as the title says . I bought these recently but after doing some motorway driving and long drives on the NC500 I have decided they are not for me . This is mainly due to the fact that I have no resonators and running 100 cell cats so they are just too loud for long journeys but I`m sure they would be fine on a standard set up . They will be available in about a weeks time .

The recent for sale advert I bought them from is here https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=148497

I am asking 950 pounds . I am based in North Shropshire .

Will leave this on Forum for a couple of weeks and then will put on eBay etc .

Pics and vids may help? Plus any gratuitous pics of the MC always welcome!😃 Glwts

Yes will have some pics by end of week as they should be off car by then but won`t have changed much since I bought them from previous seller as shown in link to previous sale as they have only been on car to do the NC500. Cheers

I’ll happily buy your 100 cell cats so you can keep running this set up :)

They are indeed and a good price I think considering how much they are new  Open to reasonable offers before they go on eBay .

You want me to pop up a video of mine with an in-car Rode Mic on my last trackday, to give a feel for the sound in-car (my exhaust is exactly the same as this, so basically everything for sale here just slapped onto the standard cats....)

Ignore my mate and I chatting bobbins - key point is there's a period of idle and low rpm in the pits, some high rpm stuff on track and then some medium/low stuff whilst pottering bsck to the pits under red flag - along with some chat at points so prospective buyers can gauge the relative volume of the exhaust against the volume of the voices:lol:

That looked great fun Ed. At first, I could understand why you were always in a higher gear than I would expect, then I remembered you have a shorter final drive. Do you find it makes a significant difference on track?

Always a hoot, first outing of 2024 so not the fastest but just chuffed at how good the car felt 8)
I really rate the 4.1 upgrade - it definitely feels like you can keep the engine on the boil better, and it does feel puncher I reckon. I think the 4.1 is a nice balance between oe and the full on 4.4, I wouldn't want to go shorter than 4.1 for ring trips personally!

I’ll have to look into how practical it would be to fit a shorter final drive here. Unfortunately, difficult to arrange and unreasonably expensive are the answers to most such enquiries!
