The February 2018 Photo Competition – COMMENTS

That looks a great location for a photo Steve - I'm well jealous of that...could have some right fun there! :D

Probably the last entry for the 2.5 this month, so finding it tough choosing a photo!
Will be tough to compete with those already entered though, photos just keep getting better and better!

MefiEcosse - Was your picture taken on the Glen Etive road near Glen Coe?

 It certainly was!

Fantastic spot.

The spot is just at the very start of the Glen Etive road, 14 miles from there to Loch Etive where the road ends!
If anyone is visiting Glencoe area it's a fantastic way to spend 2 or 3 hours!

I have ridden across Ranoch Moor twice, on my push bike and driven it in the Zed. Never been down that road though. Next time I'm up that way it's on the list.

Be very careful if you do. It's a narrow road and very twisty and there is one spot on the way back where you go over a crest and as the road falls away the other side it turns sharply left. I had a very panicky moment there closely followed by 2 other MX5s, an SLK350 and a Caterham

This was on the same road way back in 2004 in my first MX5...

And a photo opportunity not to be missed right at the end of the road...

Most of the road was resurfaced last year but thers still a few rough patches, hopefully winter hasn't done to much damage! Great photos Lazza!

Ps. I'm needing some votes!
