To all newbies out there.
here is a summary:
If you wish to modify and look after your car, and have questions, be prepared to receive the following answers:
1, Model: I am thinking of buying a coupe.... it is not as good as a roadster.
2, Model: I am thinking of buying a roadster.... it is not as good as a coupe.
3, Washing: buy as many buckets as you can, the more buckets you have the better, one for each panel preferably
4, Polish/wax: those allowed are judged purely on price, also the more random the name, the more acceptable they are. Please try and quote one that we have never heard of.
5, Aerial: this must be replaced with a version using nano technology.
6, Painting brake calipers: silver or black are the only colours allowed, anything else will label you as a chav.
7, Wheels: CSL alloys are the only change of alloys allowed (especially if you have an 'M') Also they will be frowned upon if they are replica's.
8, Brake upgrades: AP are the only ones allowed.
9, Seats: all cars must be upgraded to Red MSport seats from a newer model, so you can then disable the passenger airbag with a bypass unit.
10, Headlights: Gingicaters must be removed and replaced with clear lenses.
11, Badges: if you dare choose to place an 'M' badge on a car that is not an 'M', be prepared to be vilified and hated by people who own an 'actual' 'M'. It is their right only, to display this badge.
12, Fuel: Shell V Power, as nothing else is dear enough.
13, Springs: must be replaced with Eibachs
14, Roof: A Remote module must be fitted to a roadster roof.
Note that signing up to this forum means you no longer can have your own car, as you must follow the recommendations given at all times.
Also remember to attend the next meet,
it will be the one with two hundred Z4's, all with CSL wheels, lowered on Eibachs, red Msport seats (and a worried passenger), black/silver calipers, a tiny aerial, regulation badges, AP brakes, clear lenses, a bootful of buckets and a tank of VPower, with the roof's going up and down from a distance.
Do not look for differences, other than paint colour.

I sit back to gain amusement, from replies where truth hurts......
oke:
