I’d like heated seats - how easy would this be to do? I read the loom is already in for this year, but with these looking like M3 not Z4 seats ( not sure) would I need a kit for them instead ?
Few things I’m considering:
Next steps in improving engine ?
Gear knob
Arm rest
M sport steering wheel
Climate control upgrade retro fit
Cruise control retro fit

Hello, not sure ... what’s the difference ? Does it matter if it’s in boot? Thanks

Welcome to the forum.
Your Z4 is looking good, and has a few nice upgrades - M3 seats are definitely an improvement on the standard ones, and Xenons are much better than the standard candles.
Roof motor is much better in the boot - where BMW put them the roof drains put water into the motor, so they all die sooner or later! In the boot keeps them dry.
I knew "firebobby" would be admiring your knob!

Thanks for the welcomes guys! Ah right I understand now regarding the roof motor thanks.
Glad he likes my knob ... although was thinking of getting a M sport one in silver/carbon as I feel it doesn’t really match anything in there sorry Firebobby haha !

Well he has a wooden dash, so he might even buy your knob if you replace it!rwinstanley85 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2018 11:37 pmGlad he likes my knob ... although was thinking of getting a M sport one in silver/carbon as I feel it doesn’t really match anything in there sorry Firebobby haha !
I've got a standard facelift one (photo below) I'm not using as I bought a ZHP last year.

Welcome.
I can recommend fitting cruise control. Mine is an 03 plate and the wiring is already there. It's a ten minute job to fit the stalk.
