Well after some discussion at the last Scottish meet, we talked a little about whether to do one final run for the season.

"One more run.....!!!" I hear you shout?? Well here it is... :D

All forum members are welcome, and it would be great to see some more E89 owners at a meet :)

Following usual procedure, this thread is to gauge interest and gather in preferred dates.

Here's the plan:

* Meet - October (Saturday if possible) before the clocks go back
* Route will take in the Cairn O'Mount road, and the Braemar road. Both of which are excellent driving roads with scenery a plenty.... :)
* I have the route done, and can PM to anyone who wants a sneak peak 8)
* Start and finish point will be Perth - as I think this is fairly central (ish)
* I know the route....

Who's in?

1. Adamski
2. ZermattV - 20th October preferred
3. swiftly 20th - October preferred
4. cj_eds - possibles, date depending
5. JGP56
6. Jonnymito

Apologies from:

1. metal licker
2. jaxZ4
3. a11y

Oh - should have mentioned, post preferred dates (or available) dates, and we can take a call on when.

My preference is 20th or 27th. Sunday 28th the clocks go back which might mean driving back in the dark for a few....

Hmmm ,got terrorvision in Glasgow on the 20th and Alan davies in Carlisle on the 27th
Think i'll have to wait and see on this one :(

Now think the 20th is the most likely for me depending on being able to get to Glasgow with a bit of time to play with :)

Looking like 20th is suiting most :)

I'll be re jigging the route for those I've already sent it to. Thanks to ZermattV for pointing out a good local attraction up that way, on a good road which runs parallel with the planned route

I need another Z so I can leave one in Scotland and just fly up for the weekend :P

I'm sure someone will have a spare seat Bing :)

I might depending on whether Kirsty is working

Thanks Adam

However, I have just realised that the 20th is my mate's daughter's 18th and I am 'bouncing'.... Read keeping him company, drinking beer, dealing with overindulged teenagers and letching discretely - and only a little guiltily - at her friends from the girls grammar school 8)

No worries - but the more the merrier :)

cj_eds, if there are other roads you fancy incorporating, let me know

20th I'm quite likely to be visiting family. Add me as a maybe/doubtful and keep me on any PM's though.
Now I've had the chance to look 13th/14th Oct or first weekend of Nov (3rd/4th) suit me best.

Like the sound of the route :)

Add me as a possible. I'd love to commit 100% but it really depends how our DIY progresses between now and then - nothing like having a definitive deadline to focus you...

Hi Adam,

Might be able to fit this one in. Can let you know nearer the time? Depends on Kirsty's shifts over the next couple of weeks.
