All this talk of meets up north is making me jealous. Anyone fancy a down south meet soon? It'd be nice to meet some of you peeps! See p3 for route.

where abouts are you, and do you fancy combining thoughts on routes, I'm not so hot on orads in west sussex so hoping your from that area.
 
Ah should have read your sig, hampshire is a big place though, so where were you thinking of heading ?
 
yeah combining could definitely be an option Steve, did you get any further on deciding a date?

Maybe we could do some kind of loop picking people up along the way? Although it could get complicated!

I'm in Alton (nr Winchester) so the best roads I know of near me are the A339, A32 and A272. We could do something like this:

but I don't know how this would fit in with people further east. Also I dont know how best to close off the loop. The A3 & A31 aren't great so I'd like to avoid them!

Or alternatively do something else entirely. :?
 
How about Sunday March 29th - the start of the British summer according to my calender! We may even get good weather 8) And that gives us a few weeks to sort out details. An earlyish start might be good so we don't get too many Sunday drivers out and about.

This does conflict with the Aussie GP though, but I'm happy to record it.

Any thoughts?

I can't do March 29th, I'm doing a motorcycle safe riding course with the Dorset Road Safety Team. Don't let this stop you though, pick a day and stick to it!
