Hi guys i hate to start another "watch this space" thread but.......... I dropped the car off this morning for a full vinyl wrap in Glacier White. It was due to go in 3 weeks ago & i was going to post about it then, but i'm glad i didnt now as there was a problem with getting the vinyl  Anyway, i should have it back Monday or Tuesday of next week. I'm keeping the A-pillars, wing mirrors & hardtop Sapphire Black & intend to get the wheels done in Gloss Black when i get the car back.... here she is when i left her this morning....

i told him to do the cenre section on the lower front bumper gloss black like this one.....

and also he's doing my indicator lenses on the front in transparent black to lose the orange :D

Finally, i ordered some clear side repeaters & brake light from the stealer to finish the job off.... :D

Should look good.

I really hope they do a good job. I've seen some horrible wraps in the past, and then lots of cut marks in the paint once it was removed :(

Aww gawd,i remember the zed that changed to orange a few weeks ago,had all the forum chomping at the bit in anticipation!-worth the wait tho :) (looking forward to seeing the results)

Thanks guys, been on the cards for a while now......

andysat - yeah i remember that. i was constantly checking for an update :headbang: soooo glad i didn't post this 3 weeks ago :D

billygilly - its being done by my mate who has a company that do private & commercial vehicle wrapping service, they do colour changes / advertising and a bunch of other printing stuff. i'm obviously having it at a hefty price reduction 8) but i can ask him what it should cost for an average customer?

I know very little about wrapping, anybody had any experience of the effect on the paintwork when it's removed after a long period? I can't help thinking it must do something to the paint surface if it's baked on over a couple of summers?

lots of people get the front of their car wrapped in clear to protect the paintwork from stonechips, tar etc when they buy a new car, so i assume it must be ok :)

what part of the country r u based mate? i'm sure he'd make it a worthwhile trip based on what ive seen some other companies charging :o

just spoke to him regarding price, he said he'd do a deal for forum members £850 -£1000 for roadsters depending on effect / colour (some vinyl costs more from manufacturer than others) All sort of effects and colours available

his website is here: http://www.hansign.co.uk/

sounds like an awesome offer to me
