Just back from road trip across europe, calling at DIJON...BERN...LAKE COMO...SIENA ...MONACO....NICE( via GENOVA)...CANNES....MONTPELLIER...over MILLAU BRIDGE to MAGNA COURS...across to ROUEN .. then up to TUNNEL, in 13 days Its a trip i've wanted to do for a while , the roads and tunnels thru switzerland and italy were fantastic, the GOTTARD TUNNEL 12 miles long(outside temp reached 33c) the roads surface is fantastic,just so quite no tyre noise at all (even with run flats) with the roof down as it was most days there was just no noise,a rare pleasure with an open top car, in fact the first thing we had to do when we got back to uk M20 was put up roof and contend with the race track of three lanes of traffic. back to reallity!!! The ZED performed perfectly, did'nt miss a beat only spotted 5 others (non uk) not bad for a 6 yr old car which by fluke turned 60,000 miles as we drove on to tunnel train to come home,.....TOTAL MILES 2700, AVE MPG 37.6 AVE MPH 45.5 ........its due for the big service in 3000mls, all i did was change engine oil before trip, what a car but hey... it is a BMW.. :driving:

Fantastic trip great pics 
makes my road trip to France last month look like a drive round the block.
That pic in the rain reminds me of my drive from Vannes to Le Touquet had that weather the whole drive was knackered when i arrived at hotel.
Thinking of a mini trip to Belgium in a few weeks just need to decide where to go.
