Well after a good wash of the Z a few weeks ago a few nasty surprises appeared as I cleaned, and as I went to replace some badge's on the car:-

Stone chips down to primer.

The wing had been sprayed with the badge still on!

So I asked friends where best to take the Z for paint work, and was told by all to take it here:-

Cant recommend them enough as the quality of work was excellent.

The bonnet and front wings were resprayed and blended into the doors, and I also had them respray the boot and rear bumper and blend into rear wings.

Currently the Z is at Divine Detailing having a stage 1 paint correction detail and full interior valet:-

And while in at Divine Detailing the wheels are being sent to The Leeds Wheel Specialists to be powder coated.

Can't wait to pick it up Monday evening as have not had the car for over a week now

A stupid question maybe but wouldn't it have been easier to get a full respray as it only half the doors, half the rear wings and the front bumper not painted.

That's exactly what I thought, but was told the doors and wings would have a new coat of lacquer and this would be enough, it certainly looked like it had a full respray.

The front bumper was done only a few months ago before I bought the car so that didn't need doing.

Just refurb the wheels on the pug family wagon myself. Paint and lacquer from halfrauds and alloy filler from eBay. They have come up really well and I did try too hard, pretty impressed.

God know how they will last??
