All other models - standard suspension, but could be spec'd to Sport

2006-2009
Sport trim - all M Sport suspension (unless removed and spec'd as standard suspension, unlikely)
SE trim - all standard suspension, but could be spec'd sport

I bought my Eibachs from R Tech Autosport for £175, arrived promptly, they are so much better then stock.

Good luck with sorting.

well.. practically a YEAR later, and the car is finally back in one piece.

had a MAJOR ballache with it, as it seemed I had done a lot more damage than initially thought (rear subframe f***ed, front suspension mounts f***ed, damaged prop, list goes on)

So far, I've spent about £4k repairing "Winston". I know I could have just bought a new one, but I'm not one for letting a good car die - and he did nothing to deserve being abandoned!

I've managed to snap the handbrake cable over the weekend, and may have made a rookie mistake when fixing a window regulator (airbag disconnected, reconnected battery... :headbang: )
But, once those are fixed, he's off for his first MOT in nearly two years.

Fingers crossed he'll pass - then it's time to look at getting him wrapped in shiny vinyl and then out to play :D

To say I can't wait is an understatement. I *may* have had a little naughty drive around the local backroads this weekend. :driving:

tell me about it...
still arguing the toss with the Council over paying the bill too :x

but hey.. just ordered an airbag reset tool that arrives tomorrow, and if the weather stays good, I'll hack into the handbrake tonight!
Gonna book MOT for Friday and then cry like a fountain if it fails!

should think so.. but not really interested in that route tbf.
it'll be another ball ache, and then have to live with the increased renewals etc...

Bonjour mister!

soon as it's back on the road, I'll be back at the meets :)

The charger is looking pretty much exactly as it did this time last year... in pieces.
the chassis is cleaned and welded, but not coated.
the engine is 90% reassembled
the gearbox is fooked
the suspension is nowhere to be found
the interior looks like it was left to rot behind a barn for 20 years...

basically, it's an arse to get "original" parts and I wish I never even started the project.
the single moment of joy was firing up the engine after the first rebuild and enjoying the sound of it ticking over for a few minutes while drinking a cool beer.
that was it.
