The seatbelt on my MC can irritate my neck a little when i've wearing a t-shirt. I'm sure i can get some kind of magical device to stop this. Can someone tell me what's available and where etc? Pics would be good too.

Thanks

A collar? :P

Or do you mean harness pads: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductList.asp?cls=ROAD&grp=RP140&pgrp=RP020&tlgrp=RP020

Athol,
Raify beat me to it ! I was gonna suggest some chavvy ripspeed things ! :poke:

God they are bad....................

I bought an alcantara seat belt pad direct from Recaro - something like this.

I think they're officially called 'harness pads', although mine was actually from the Recaro child seats. I didn't want one of those you see on ebay with huge letters spelling out SPAZ/IMMOBIL1/etc.

I can't see them on the Recaro site anymore (http://www.capitalseating.co.uk), but they're at the bottom of the page here.

This is what they look like in mine...

this any use?

That's very smart mmm-five, very class especialy compared to the chavtastic pads you normally see.Luckily I don't seem to have this issue.

As a side thought, would the placement of the pad on the belt stop the passenger side bulkle clattering off the plastic trim when it's unplugged? Does my nut in. I know I could fi it with a bit of velcro on the buckle but this is a nice-looking alternative.

YES! This is massively annoying. Even more annoying when combined with a passenger who slams doors!

I've just bought a pair of cheap knock-off black/blue BMW ones from ebay. Only cost about 6 quid, but I'm buggered if I'm spending 30 quid on seatbelt pads.

I know what you mean, my seat belts anoy me too, used to think the pads were a bit chavy but the Recaro one look ok.

:D

I've wedged a pair of B&Q rubber furniture feet in the runner slot attached to each seat and it guides the belt away from my neck. They are little grey circular things and they fit perfectly. They've been in there for around 3000miles now and haven't moved.

The only drawback is that you have to feed the seatbelt home so it doesn't get twisted. The positive side of that is that the belt doesn't retract quickly negating the possibility of it marking the trim or catching the glass. If anyone wants more info or a pic, let me know. :D

Mant, apologies for the delay, work curtailed surfing I'm afraid.

They are indeed the little fellas.

I took one off the sticky stuff, rolled my thumb over the back of it which removes the clear sticky residue and wedged one in each belt runner. Stopped the belt cutting my head off, but you do have to feed it through carefully to avoid the belt twisting.

I'll get some pics done shortly for you.
