Cats & Car Roofs

Ok, so here it is. There are a LOT of cats that either live or enjoy spending time around the development I live in. In the morning when I get in my car I often find cat hair on my roof and paw marks on my bonnet. I am not impressed as I sure you'll appreciate. I've often looked out my window to find a cat either sitting on the (warm) bonnet or the (soft) roof.

Does anyone have any humane solutions as to how I keep the cats off my pride and joy?

And before any clever souls suggest it:

1. I am not buying a hard top to put on at night.
2. I am not buying a coupe instead.
3. I am not moving.

So with these three solutions off the table, does anyone have an answer to this seemingly ridiculous problem?

When the Zed was left on the driveway ( lives in a garage these days) I put a cover over it to stop the cats from scratching the paint. A lot of moggies where I live as well.

if you park on your drive them get one of these - they work a treat http://www.deteracat.co.uk/ultrasonic_cat_deterrent_system.htm

Apologoies, I didnt mean to post the thread twice, I wrote them on my TP2 whilst my gf was speeding along at 70 in the scooby.
Mods, please feel free to delete one (though if you could move any replies it would be appreciated).
Thanks F1.

oddly our neighbours cat used to sit on my roof quite regularly, chased him off a couple of times and he has stopped.

our two don't go near it - never have :?

Have the same problem, have hosed them in the face and thrown bowls of water over them. Does seem to do the trick..........for a few weeks.

Yes, the ultrasonic one is great. I have it in the car port and the wild cats no longer get in there.

I watched Black Hawk Down hundred times, always like ranger/delta outfits and their weapons. Other DVD collections include Saving Private Ryan, We were soliders, etc. It will be nice to know where/how to start this hobby. :D Use NOD in the tunnels?

I started with a mate last year - great day out, even do night games. Unfortunately I'm off for 2 or 3 months due to a bad back. But all the sites are very friendly and newbies always welcome

PS I prefer flecktarn camo

Er guys, all very interesting to those that like guns, war, role play, etc but I think we've gone slightly off topic here.

And, I did mention in my first post that I was looking for a humane solution... :)
