Have the admire the effort to do such a thing.. but WHY?

I quite like the roll hoops.... but thats about it!

Zips on the door pockets and studs on the seat cant be comfortible, also look like that is a roof cover... and not the roof itself.... is that a 3 series wheel?

And as for the spec of the car itself - it has manaul ac, but electric folding mirrors?!

think it was created to showcase a Tokyo trimmer company's talents. quite amazing, albeit mental. :dizzy:

Surely it's just a showcase for what the car retrimmer is capable of, rather than the ideal interior for a Z4.

I don't mind tan leather, and have seen an M5 with leather dash from BMW individual (don't get this as an option as the leather shrinks and comes away).

Would be perfect for the Lewee Vweeton fanboys.

ok, how about this then.... pretty slick - the Z4Sdrive35i special mille miglia edition.... nice! :o :o :o
(im looking at getting my worn seats re-trimmed hence the pics!) thinking something like this would be good.

Not sure about the carpets :?

I want mine retrimmed in alcantara, but I'll have to wait until funds allow - and might do it on some proper Recaros instead of the standard Lear ones (which means they'll be easy to swap back to standard).

Still not sure if I want champagne or anthracite alcantara though.

When CJ sees that Z4 he'll be straight into his shed designing a new wooden trim set for his car! :)

awful but talented! e46 steering wheel an odd mod ive only seen once before. As for the hoops thats an easy one if you like them- take the covers off and spray to match body

IMO alcantara is not ideal seat material.....

My celica had that... and it ruined a few of my suit jackets/ trousers before i realised it was my car seats doing it :(

Also why has that special edition got M sills.. its not an M :poke:

I'm struck between the quality of the craftsmanship in some areas to achieve this level and effect, but how overall it's a big 'fail'.

Great to showcase a trimmers work.

Don't see why it should ruin anything. I've had it in 2 of my M5s (well BMW's version of this synthetic suede called amaretta) and it's worn really well (for 100,000 miles in each), and never affected anything I've worn. Maybe it's the Toyota version of synthetic suede that has the issue.

Thats quite possible.. no idea what type it was.. but as the celica was a 20k car.. vs the M5 £50k its quite likely that they used the cheaper stuff in it.

It caused excess wear on the my suits... i ended up have white wear patches on my black suits... not a good look.. think faded jeans but on a suit!
