Now then...

I was hoping that you guys might be able to help me decide which wheels to go for. Im experiencing a bit of a dilemma and cant choose between four.

Below are the links to all four.

http://www.bmautosport.co.uk/detail.php?siteid=2040

http://www.bmautosport.co.uk/detail.php?siteid=1960

http://www.bmautosport.co.uk/detail.php?siteid=1724

http://www.bmautosport.co.uk/detail.php?siteid=1910

All four are staggered fitment in 19". I think I will be going for a set of Falken 452's as they get a good review on here.

Your thoughts / comments are greatly appreciated.

Thanks

John

I thought about CSL's but wanted something a little different from what most people put on their coupes.

I have looked at the website again though and quite like the polished CSL look, so I have edited the above and added a fourth link.. :D

I also don't like any!

Also wouldn't recommend any which are polished due the the high maintenance and probability of lacquer peel.

What's wrong with the 108's?

I don't like any of those you posted.

There's nothing wrong the 108's. I like them but fancy a change as I have had them on my last Zed aswell.

Ill be keeping them, selling the RFT's and putting some winter tyres on and keeping them as a winter set of wheels so that my lovely new ones dont get all messed up with the winter salt and grime on the roads

Im surprised you dont like the 4th link Playalistic, looks like you have CSL's on your M??

As my post above, the 108's will go on the car for the winter so this should hopefully stop any harmful stuff eating away at the laquer..

I still have my virtually new 108's too, however was unsure of using them as winter wheels as they would get destroyed right away!

Also wanted 17's for winters so tyres would be cheaper.

My 108's have been refurbed by the dealer with a painted lip. There is still signs of corrosion on the inside of the wheel so its my plan to refurb them myself over the summer before I fit winter tyres so everything is painted and lacquered with no polished bits. This should make them a bit easier to look after... hopefully anyway!!

Thought about selling the 108's and buying some 17's but by the time I have messed about, dont think its going to be worth it, plus I still want my car to look nice in the winter

I do have CSLs. However, those things you posted can hardly be compared to CSLs as they look pretty naff IMO! Sure they're Y-spoke but that's where the similarities end!

Hey, if we all liked the same stuff it would be a pretty boring place.

Personally I'd go smoked CSL reps, but...

The most pertinent piece of information / contribution to this thread

A few of the things I've done with my car were met with uncertainty before hand and have gone down well afterwards.

As someone else mentioned I'd bag a set of 17s for winter wheels and 108s possibly the last ones I'd be using at winter.
