On the 24th September 2011 I picked up my 3.0 Si Roadster and I've loved every minute since. Over the last few months I have been inspired by many of you to put some effort into personalising my Z to make it really 'mine' - much to the detriment of my bank account and, ocassionally, the patience of SWMBO
. Phase 1 Modding is now (almost) complete - nothing mad, nothing unique, and actually a few of you have directly contributed to my efforts, so this has been a bit of a Community Project - thanks guys, credits below
I did a few things before Christmas, then installed a couple of presents on Christmas Day. Many people had Boxing Day today - I had Hood Treatment, Wash, Dry, Polish, Interior Cleaning & Photograph Day, using all my spiffy new Z-Love products... Unfortunately I only managed Hood Treatment, Wash, Dry & Rushed Photos because other duties called in the morning & I couldn't do everything before the light went this afternoon :x
I'll get the rest of Today done Tomorrow and post some much better pics, but here's a few quick snaps to be getting on with
First off, the products, all of which were presents from the family (or myself
) :
Every one of the BMW products smells amazing - washing the car has become a sensory experience all of a sudden  I took this picture because I'm a sucker for products that tell you they are working, like the mouthwash that scoops up gunk in your mouth, colours it and then shows you how much cr@p was between your teeth no matter how much you brush. This is what the wheelwash did to my wheels after 2 mins (winter wheels, courtesy of koolchris99
) :
Next a couple of shots of my new black grilles, and the carbon bonnet badge that's been on a while now (latter courtesy of skillick
) :
Side repeater, carbon (also courtesy of skillick
) :
New tax disk holder from my wife for Christmas, not a facelift but has my summer wheels on :
And finally a rear-end shot, clear brake light (thanks TZ4
) and carbon boot badge (skillick, again   ) :
More to follow tomorrow... 8)

. No really, it looks good now but the red one is just better
. It's a must for a white, silver or a grey car but in black the red is the color. I changed the side repeater bulbs in silver vision, so no orange (check your picture, you see the orange).
