Red rear lights fitted

Post by fairzy » Sun Apr 14, 2013 2:37 pm

Finally got round to fitting my all red rear lights and clear side indicators today. I think it really freshens up the car...

Still debating whether to fit the grey inserts back on but I'll leave it for a few days and see.

Bought a cheap set off eBay that I lacquered.

All of the colours shine through as they should too - orange indicators etc.

I think the grey inserts will get put back on, just to break up the red.

Looking good. What does the reversing light look like through the red? Any chance of a pic?

That's the proper way to do it. I've never been a fan of "tinting" lights with sticker tape.

The all-red look fits the sexy curves of the roadster extremely well.

I think the French fries (didn't realise they were called that but totally get it now!) will be going back on.

Always liked the 'clean' look of everything being the same colour, so all red is the best for me.

I'll get a pic of the reversing light but will be fitting a CREE led jobbie soon.

Talking of putting the fries back on - any tips of what to use? Got some heavy duty tape (for number plates) but its far too thick.

Looks loads better then the yellow fried egg look... but On sterling grey i think the centres smoked grey look better.
