Photoshoot with old and new Z4 together

The roof aside they look strikingly similar from some angles. And considering the new one about 6inches longer you cant really tell.

Very interesting, doesn't look as big as I thought, think someone else said that the other day, in the flesh it looks smaller than it does in the pics.

Just found out last week that my dealer will have a new Z4 on the showroom floor around the middle of May and that will be when I will get my first look... :)

Then I will decide if I like it... :?

However, can't imagine I would like it more than my M Rodster.... :driving:

I guess it would have been better in the same colour and the facelift too...

Better still the Coupe but i have to say i dont like it.

And with the added length it wouldn't fit in our second garage so wouldn't buy one either.

Cheers

As much as I like the new one, the original holds up pretty well against it. Two great looking cars!
A couple of things about the new one to be worked out. If one decides to dump the runflats, wondering if a compact spare fits in the trunk with the top down. Also, the only rims I like are the optional 19's. The big engine looks like the way to go, but need to pony up some big bucks, nearly 60K with options, would probably wait a while and buy a CPO, better value. My $.02

For anyone that likes golf, there will be a new Z4 on display at the BMW Championship event at Wentworth that I'm going to on May 21. There is also a BMW only priority car park and lounge which is nice :)

stil think ours looks better- nice to see tehy used a prefacelift model as the clasic example! The new one just says to me that there will be an M sport kitted model in a year and thats whn it will look good and proportionally right!

When you see it in person I think you will change your mind :-)

Still prefer the E85 much more of a muscle car look to me and the interior on the new car is way to fussy.

The old car blows the new model away in the last pic

Will go and have a look though.

It is growing on me, but just like the new 3 series I can't see the point in car where the boot\trunk becomes totally useless when you want to put the roof down, it's one of things I really like about the current Zed that as impractical 2 seater roadsters go, it is very practical.
