Interstingly they have blacked out the lower centre section of the front bumper and the kidney grills! We always knew these mods would look the best!

It also looks like the have blacked out the lower section of the rear "s" bumper! Now why didn't they do that on the standard "s"? That would have made more sense to the design!

I like the satin silver finish!

I wondered what it would look like with blackout grills.....

Guess I need some now.... :headbang: and I like the suede inserts in the seats.

I like that. Polaris Metallic matte finish looks great. But I think it should have aerodynamic side skirts (similar ones from E85/E86).

Looks good & like it a lot. First thing I commented on the 'Is' thread was to black out the rear bumper lower section. seems made for it

Boot badge looks a bit like somethign from Halfords

its the first time ive looked at the new zed and thought 'wow'. i love it, the lambo style seats look good as well. agree with CJ about the boot badge, doesnt look 'on brand' for a bmw.

if they are already releasing special editions i think there will defo be full fat /M.

If you ordered cup holders would they list those as well

A little tacky... but otherwise

Are those seats a direct retro fit for the E85? Anyone? :tumbleweed:

Very much doubt the new Z4 seats would fit to be honest. They seem a little taller than the ones in my old 3.0si and I bet the fixings would be different.
Would probably be more cost effective to get yours re-trimmed the same as those seats would cost a fortune!

Sorry, Breaker, was dicking around (although it wasn't quite obvious)... I thought it the sort of question someone might ask in all seriousness!

I've finally figured out why BMW made the new Z4 into a bigger car than the original Z4: it's so the length of the model designation badges looks more in proportion  :poke:

Seriously though, model names are getting out of hand at the moment IMO.

Strange to see so many "models" being launched, they never done that before on a model.

Oh well, all edging closer to a "real" one then :)

It is a strange subject, a new shape Z4 M. I say this because how/where would they pitch the car? The "S" can already be spec'd to over £50,000 so how much would an M model cost with that V8 in and all the necessary stuff that goes with it? Getting close to serious performance metal there! It would cost way over an M3's price based on that! At my local dealer there is a very nice M3 coupe "Alpine" edition with only 1,600 miles for £50,000!

Mind you if they did make it, give it 2-3 years on and you will be able to buy one for the same price an an equivalently aged 35i! :P

Read this on Autoblog earlier this morning. Interesting.
