Anyone fitted the genuine BMW Aluminium Sport Pedal Pads to their E89?

It looks like the set for the Auto/DCT has the accelerator and brake pedal (PN 35002213212), but I've seen some pictures of the manual set that also has an aluminium foot rest.

How much are they? Quite funny these cars don't come with aluminium pedals from the factory

I was thinking of getting some. BMW show it on eBay for the auto car...but with no metal footrest....I'm going to order some today

I had them fitted. Love them!

No footrest though, but does not look bad. Will upload pics shortly, but you can just make it out in my signature I think.

As an FYI, I got this back from Brian at bmwpedals.com over the weekend to the following questions.

I've just been browsing your site and wanted to know if you have any plans to produce a RHD pedal set for the auto/DCT E89 and will they come with the foot rest?

"Thanks for the email.
We have this covered and in stock. Just haven’t posted the pics yet.

To purchase we could send you a paypal invoice if you like.

Set sells same price as others at $144.99
International shipping $45

The footrest is in the 3pc set."

Not sure if I'm going to go this route or the official BMW pedal route at the moment.

The pedals from bmwpedals.com need to be drilled, they provide a template and there's a video on their website. I'm assuming the official BMW ones are the same?

I have 1 series sport alloy pedals in my car, found them in the parts bin, for £30, reduced as the packaging was damaged.

Need 3 holes drilled for the brake and clutch, and 4 for the accelerator. Comes with a sticky template. The brake on my e85 was metal, the rest plastic. The metal ones tool ages to drill through!!

Sorry - know I said I woud upload at the weekend. All just got a bit hectic. Hopefully this gives you a flavour of the official BMW manual set. I think it looks much improved.
