Caliper colour change. New colour done

Post by KERMIT1970 » Mon Sep 29, 2014 8:38 am

Thoughts folks ! As some of you's know had problems with my rear brake calipers discolouring, dealer going to paint them at there cost as bmw Not interested :( have purchased doom blue paint as on the newer models but a little unsure if they will suit my melbourne red paint work. Or should I just leave them silver ? Image
A few days work & i'am eally happy with the results !

I can't see a problem with the blue and the red. I would go for it personally or try and find a picture of a red BM with the ///M Performance calipers to see what it looks like. Must be a pic out there

How about white? No matter what colour, you will have to clean them anyway.

Not a fan of the gold element, but I quite like the gunmetal colour.

Why is it that people who can't take advice always insist on giving it?

Maybe a colour should be " chosen" to suggest that all on the forum do them in the same colour so that anywhere a car is we all know the owner is on the forum?.

Might be a struggle to tell if the "selected" colour is black/silver :D :driving:
