2006 Z4 M Roadster - 68K miles - full service history and warranty

Post by Mroadster » Mon Dec 18, 2017 2:09 pm

Thanks Paul, I really feel the same about it.. in "person" it really looks even more amazing than in pics. Nothing to do with the dull Imola red. I still like titanium silver though.. classic for a Bimmer.

Mroadster wrote: Mon Dec 18, 2017 1:45 pm Oh f**k, I just saw the ad.. that makes me wish I had found a buyer already!

Tell me, please.. how big does really feel the difference between the electric and hydraulic steering? (I'm sure there must be tons of posts about it I could read but..)
If it helps at all, I'm following my own advice and waiting until Spring to try to sell it again

I've literally just had this exact discussion at work - I might be in the minority, but I honestly can't feel that much difference between the two. The ///M feels heavier for sure, but I always thought the non///Ms had great steering feel as it was.
I'm sure many others will tell you how much better the hydraulic one is, but personally I like both and probably couldn't tell the difference on a blind test
That's what I suspected.. well, I definitely hope that a buyer comes up before Spring and your coupe is still on the market when that happens.. I had a coupe itch even before getting in the situation that makes me look to sell.

By the way, checked the tyres, they are 4 ContiSportContacts.

I'm after a coupe, but this is tempting... Where are you based?

you really need to attach some pics of the wrap without the silly filters on. Those do not represent the colour of the car so it's proper annoying looking at it.

There's no "silly filters", just a bit of HDR effect which doesn't change the colour at all. The car actually looks like in the pics in the "flesh".

I don't believe it :) as I've said in my honest opinion your pictures make it harder to sell. Take the car to a well lit area, preferably nice sunny day and take some decent pictures and dont add any filters etc.

I'm sorry that you don't believe it, although I honestly appreciate the advice. But I know the car, know the pics and of course anyone is free to come see in person.

oh well! :) that's just my opinion, good pictures always help sell the car. I'd walk away from this after looking at pictures and it's nothing to do with service, wrap or anything else. Pictures would put me off and I wouldn't spend any time viewing it.

Of course.

Thanks for your nice opinion, which can only help to induce anyone else to run away based on.. no evidence / no knowledge.

I was missing this attitude, guys. It's so nice to have it back. :headbang:

Hey if it's difficult for a seller to provide some decent pictures then I don't really know if potential buyers time is worth it either. You need to stop getting your penties in a twist, I'm just trying to help you sell the car and suggest that better pictures would make a massive difference.

I think it's just turned 69k now, was mid 68k back then.

I am willing to consider offers.
