Don't sell it dude. We re just saving up for a mortgage now and then I am saving up for a Z4 just like yours. We did the sensible thing last year and bought a 08 1.4 auris. Boring, I need, want to have fun, life is too short, mortgages and serious stuff sometimes takes over and we end up bored.

You might have a point! In fact you've definitely got one. However, the car sale will contribute to a nicer, bigger home, and its an optimum time to buy in the UK. If selling the zed gets me that then it might be worth it.

I've had 18 months of pure enjoyment from it, if it doesn't sell and stays with me for another 18 months all the better. But if it goes it's served its purpose 8)
