Hello,

I am selling a 2007 (07) Sapphire Black Z4M coupe. 30,500miles.

I am very reluctant to sell, but I am moving to Germany soon, so I can’t keep a right hand drive car. I am a powertrain engineer and for me there is probably no better engine/car combination for this price.

Beauty, my second favourite colour combo

But why not take it to Germany? I drove a left hand drive in the UK for years, no problems - and I spend quite a bit of time on the continent in a UK car as well.

I thought I'd get in before someone else and wish you GLWTS.

ETA: shouldn't there be a 2-year maximum gap between services irrespective of mileage covered :?

Very nice.

Just FYI the sooner you do the oil service the sooner the inspection 2 will come around so I personally wouldn't get the oil service done early, just knock the the cost of carrying it out off the price.

Thanks. I agree with you, it's not difficult to drive a RHD on the continent.
But:
- It is expensive to export the car (xenon lights to change, road tax to pay again)
- A RHD will be difficult to sell in Germany
- And last but not least, I will be moving to a city where owning a car is not helping (parking costs, living 3 miles from work...).

Ah yes, I did not do 1 and 2 ...

Credit also for the condition of the seats, we sometimes see some real howlers coming by with shocking states. These look great

Can be easily refurbed or even diy with perfect results.

GOOD LUCK with the sale, I love the M coupe.

Good point. When I was buying the car, I asked the question to a friend from school who is now a lubricants specialist at Total. He explained me that a 3 year gap (with 2,600 miles covered per year) won't have any impact on the engine, especially with a garaged car.

I think I have seen this car in Maidstone and had a nose round it (unbeknownst to the owner :P ) - if it is the asme one, it is lovely

Good luck with the sale, that's a great price.

Yes good suggestion, i don't mind getting it serviced (H&C Motors, an excellent independant BMW specialist is just 500 yards from my house) or reducing the price.

Awesome car, good luck with the sale, hope there's someone looking for a special xmas present right now...

If I didn't own one already, I'd snap it up too, it's the same spec as what I have

Go on then :poke:

Is it true, you can't get a BMW warranty on the car because it hasn't had an oil service done every two years?

Its not a problem for me but there is an issue as I am based in malta now and the car on the road will come to around 35000 sterling with all the costs of registration etc....

:)

Very nice - in that colour / spec i'd even consider going over to the dark side of coupe ownership... It's just a little too soon for me to indulge.

Oh no! What a shame to have to leave it behind. When do you move? Going to work for BMW??? ;)

I don't know the exact date, but it's likely to be in February.

The company I'm joining has got projects with BMW but I won't be involved in that stuff. I work for the dark side of the industry anyway (Diesel engines).

Diesel engines are the future.
