After just three months, I'm having to sell the best car I've ever owned.
Sadly I overextended and forgot I was earning a lot less than I used to, so the Zed has to go
So, I'm selling up.
You can see the prettified pictures I took by clicking this link, however I've also stripped back the editing on them and reposted a gallery so that you can see the car 'as is'.
(It's currently a LOT dirtier thanks to the shite weather, but it scrubs up beautifully!)
The whole lot is here, but I've attached a few choice images below.
Spec:
3.0Si Engine
64,100 Miles (just over, and will be using it as a daily driver until sold)
Bi-Xenons
Stubby (still have the original whip in the boot)
M-Power Gear Knob (still have the original silver one, but why would you want it??)
Black Heated Nappa Leather Sports Seats
Electric Seats
Single CD player
Sat Nav with custom 2012 DVD (with Speed Cameras)
Auto-Dim Mirrors
Extended Storage (Netting and Cup Holders)
Bluetooth
Rear Parking Sensors
Aux-In (Factory Fitted)
Standard audio system (I have replaced the speaker behind the passenger seat as it was damaged when I bought the car)
15 months warranty with VGS - I believe this is transferrable as long as the new owner is a private individual with cover up to £10,995
MFSW (Multi-Function Steering Wheel)
Cruise Control
The interior has wear on the outer (door-side) bolsters which is fairly standard on these cars - worse on the drivers' side as you would expect. I have used some leather treatment stuff on them, but someone with greater experience can probably bring them up better than I can.
The car was MOT'd in late January and taxed at the end of February for a year, so no worries there. There's just under 8000 miles remaining until it's next service interval.
The starter motor is on its way out, but I will be getting that fixed under warranty.
I've had two new Falken FK-453 tyres fitted to the rear. The dealer had two tyres fitted to the front of a brand I haven't heard, but to be honest they've been performing absolutely fine so no issues there. All tyres are non-RFT.
All in all, it's a cracking car and I wish I could keep her, she's just too expensive for me at this point in my life!
Service History:
The service intervals are as follows (going from stamps in the book):
26-10-07 Pre-delivery check @ BMW
25/03/09 Oil Service @ Wood of Bournemouth BMW (18,787 miles)
03/03/10 Inspection 1, Brake Fluid & Micro Filter @ Wood of Bournemouth BMW (36,322 miles)
24/04/12 Oil Service @ Bristol Street Motors (55,570 miles)
There's about 7000 miles remaining on the clock until the next service interval.
