For sale is my 2003 BMW Z4 3.0i Roadster

• Sterling Grey
• 96,000 miles
• MOT - 9/2/14
• Tax - 28/2/14
• 3 litre, Straight 6, 231bhp engine
• 6 Speed Manual
• 2 Keys

I’ve owned the car since May 2012 and have enjoyed every minute; it’s a great car to drive and looks fantastic hood up or down. It’s recently had a few pounds spent on it, including a new roof motor - a costly problem if they go wrong… the parts cost £ 350 and it takes a days labour. For a quick car it’s not expensive to run, I average 30 mpg ‘round the doors’ and 35-38 mpg on a long run

Factory Fitted Options

• Leather Electric Heated Seats
• OEM Wind Deflector
• Electric Heated Mirrors (Not folding)

• 29/1/10 - 73713
• 26/1/11 - 80041
• 26/1/12 - 85870

The car does have a few marks/imperfections on it which are detailed below. It’s in great condition given the age/mileage and personally I’d consider them expected wear and tear but I’d rather be as honest as possible in the advert

Minor Kerbing to all 4 wheels (No corrosion, brand new September 2012)
Deep scratch, approx 1” long, on the rear bumper
Scuff on bottom edge of front bumper
Slight discolouring of leather on drivers seat R/H bolster
The bumper/bonnet have never been resprayed, so are a little stone chipped
Patch of lacquer peeled off, approx. 2” x 0.5” behind drivers door

Please note car will be sold on the original reg, YJ03 KSB

Car is located in Durham, DH7

Looking forward to more detailed pictures :)

Any chance you could detail the services carried out at each mileage please?

Cheers

Thanks for the positive comments chaps, I'll get some proper photos done ASAP as the weather has been dire.

Service wise:

BMW Synter Nottingham - 12398miles oil service
BMW Sandal Wakefield - 22675 miles inspection 1
BMW Sandal Wakefield - 34964 miles oil service
BMW Sandal Wakefield - 49696 miles inspection 2
BMW Sandal Wakefield - 69700 miles oil service
J&S BMW Specialists - 81032 miles oil service + new plugs
Prestige German Cars - 91350 miles oil service

Next will be an inspection 2 which is due in 10850 miles, if it doesn't sell it'll be getting done in January along with MOT.

For anyone keeping an eye on this, V5 has now arrived and will be sent off today to remove the plate from the car. I'll try and write a more detailed ad this afternoon!

Ta.

Just a thought, have you considered putting back to standard to make a bit more money?

I'd be interested in wheels, clear 3rd brake and clear side indicators. And trade in my standard parts if you don't have them already!? Mines also sterling grey, pretty much identical to yours.

Some buyers may actually prefer to buy it standard.

Danderton - I know what you mean, and if I sell it on PH I'll change the side repeaters for sure as they go on eBay for £50+.

The wheels are a bit of a tough one as it means getting another set which may be rough/corroded and to be honest I can't think of any other wheels that suit the E85 apart from the 108's which are a nightmare from personal experience. I've had some interest, and the wheels we're mentioned as a plus point.

As for the brake light, only changed that as the original had cracked and didn't work properly - I don't think it looks particularly none standard.

If I do decide to put it as far back to standard as poss, I'll advertise the parts on here first.

Hi Tommy_C - in what respect did you find the 108's were a nightmare? I'm looking for a Z4 at the moment and your comments/experience will be useful.

They're lovely wheels, just need looking after. Find a set that are in good nick, a proper refurb is £££ as they need splitting and they're prone to corrosion being a split rim wheel.

Thanks for the advice Tommy_C - much appreciated

Well done on the sale! This was one of the cars I was considering before I found mine. Did it go to a potential forum member?

All mine :D
