I have finally got around to getting this driving sim on the pc and my word is it good. Challenging, wide range of cars and tracks, good AI and really good realisim.
I have been thrashing a 35is round tonight with the traction and stability off. Took a while to be able to make a corner but now I have the hang of it, great fun! Is making me want a new wheel and peddle set
Anyone else got this or any other good racing sims?

No chance here, as I like my PC's in the lounge. Compromise being no speakers or wheel and pedal sets.
Used to play TDU and TDU 2 for days at a time and drive Mrs G nuts.

Got Forza 7 to compare it to? That's what I have along with a thrustmaster wheel.

Oooo I thought it was just XBox, shows me up Can't have too many on the go at once so will most likely stick to Assetto for a bit, plenty for me to get my teeth into with it. Is still on offer on steam for less than a tenner if you don't have itScooba_Steve wrote: ↑Tue Jan 02, 2018 10:20 pmForza is for PC too, as I too am a PC only kind of guy.

Project Cars 2 for the win!
Physics,ai, aesthetics, setup complexity. Beats everything else hands down imo but u need a decent spec pc. Oh, and gtr2 is still unbeatable for in-car sound and realistic engine noises. Transmission whine on the bmw gtr mod for example. Then go and watch hans stuck nurburgring lap in the same car.....
Played gtr2 and rfactor for years with all the mods and tracks and even had a separate hd for the game folders
Gtr2 game folder is 75gb...and rising ocasionally

I play Forza on my sons Xbox, its definitely not a sim though. more of an arcade game.
PC is for war games mainly.
as for no speakers in the living room, get yourself a Kraken 7.1 headset, the sound quality is immense. they are not cheap though at £120, but you get what you pay for.
