Missing the Zed!

The silver bullet is in the dealers getting the starter motor replaced under warranty. Unfortunately they didn't have a starter in house so have to wait until tomorrow. I really hate the thought of my P+J sitting in a dealer's locked yard overnight - dread to think where or what it's parked up against! Last time it was there, I came back to pick it up and it was parked next to an overflowing skip

I hate leaving my car overnight for repairs too. They have so many cars going in and out, I worry they don't look after it like I would :(

I know the 4 pot's the beginner of the z4 range, but its a bit harsh referring to it as the "starter" motor........

When you get it back, why don't you ask the service manager where 1/3 of the engine has gone? :fuelfire:

I went for the optional extra of more luggage space instead of another two cylinders!

Ya cheeky buggers....

Yup, with BMW less is most definitely more (££s). I could see them marketing that as a cost option. How would they describe it?... Engine Bay Weight Optimisation £2000
