Here are a few pics from my trip to the Swiss Alps....Still too much snow to get across the moutain passes Need to go a little later in the year (Will remember for next time :headbang: )...Great fun though!
I reckon end of June onwards should be safe enough, St Moritz had heavy snow the week before we left!....Middle of May! It was very warm while we were there, 30 degrees one day...so the snow should be melting away!
Awesome place need to do a driving holiday would like to go on my own but can be a pain without a co driver was thinking of driving to Le-Mans on my own this year but the Tolls would be a pain keep jumping out and running around the car then trying to overtake slow traffic on the N roads is a nightmare
 Yep pain in the A having to get out of the car to get the ticket and then to pay! Though that said the roads are good and not too busy which helps
Great pics. I love driving in the Alps. The Dolomites are lovely too - Bolzano to Cortina area. One thing - you need to include the car in the shots more! Like this:
Road from Bormio to Stelvio Pass:
Passe Di Madonna, Italy (car had a thorough thrashing up a lovely quiet, wide 30 odd mile climgb to get here)
Delle, Belgium - OK, not exotic, but the sunlight just worked nicely from our lunchtable
Even the traffic jams can be picturesque in Switzerland:
Lunchtime in the Dorgdogne (near those cave drawings - forget the name)
This summer I have two or three Alpine trips lined up for the Z4 - I'm taking my Dad down to Nurburgring/Grindelwald/Jungfraujoch in early July, then with the other half to SW Germany and Austria later in July.
