Been off work for a couple of days to take a road trip into Wales. Had a blip so had to return home (see the problems pages) otherwise the plan was to B&B it overnight Monday, but resumed yesterday. Went round the Ellan Valley and on to Aberystwyth Monday and Aberdify yesterday. About 550 miles in total.
I have been on this route in my 3.0si. Main differences are the way it pulls out of corners is impressive and the handling is so much more planted! It really inspired confidence! The way they have the suspension set for this car in "sport" mode is fantastic for fast road driving! I hit a brilliant stretch of twisty road yesterday and must have had it to myself for around 30 miles!! Fantastic!
:driving:
A lot less concentration needed to drive this Z4 fast compared to my previous one. You can keep great cross country pace with little effort and when I got home last night late from driving all day, I felt fine!
Managed to drive both days with the roof down also!
