The sun is out so, I had a drive around my village and took a couple of shots:

Nothing special, but a joy to have the roof down and our nice Norman church on the hill in the centre of Shenstone made a good spot to stop

Glad you're working hard then Andy.

Rudd - I'm at work too - here's the view from my office. Bloody hard to be motivated - I think I have to go post a letter now :(

a damn sight better than the view from mine. you have obviously never been through costa del birtley :P i cant even see my car!

i think we should have a siesta during the day like they do on the continent so we can all go driving!

certainly better than view from my office - industrial estate :( odd for a software house but hey ho :o

car is (I hope) at home on my driveway...

do get a top down experience on the way home though - on my push bike :D

cj - your car is as ever lovely

Nice shots! Good to see the hardtop is off at last! :P

On the motorbike to work today! Thought about going home lunch time the get the Z4 out! :P

Roof was down all weekend when driving though!

total of 17 miles a day - all on main roads, plus a train ride or too.

without the bike it is 3 (or more) trains each way and takes longer...

when i worked in the centre of town i used to ride in as it was a nice route. working where i do now it is all horrible roads, im a bit of a fair weather biker though  and my bike is nothing flash.

I'm 5 miles each way with an absolute bugger of a hill on the way home: my house is at 180m above sea level while work is at 10m only. Largely on quiet roads and through a forest and park, partly off-road hence the 'cross bike rather than road bike, reasonably enjoyable. I hate road cycling with a passion - I'm a mtber through and through...

gannet - my wife has a similar style bike but made by Specialized. Was ideal for taking on the train as it folded down enough to go on a luggage rack if required. Yours is, erm, lovely :D

Anyway, nice photos CJ and sorry for the divergence on your thread

yup - has to be a folder 'cos of the trains. I wouldn't be allowed on with a full size non folder, and didn't want to go as small as a 16" Brompton.

Should have seen the service guy's face at the dealer here in chiswick when I pulled it out of the zed's boot though - classic :D

yeah and sorry cj

This is mine (not the tidiest office)...

8 miles through the countryside - too dark in the winter to be safe. 12% hill a mile in is no fun. Hopefully back on it later this week

No pics of the car... too dirty at the moment! Roof down every day at the moment

+1 - great pics, really need to sort my calipers. And everything else. Were those taken with the new camera?

Top thread hijack guys - one of the best I've seen on the board

I post the car shots,
Andy advises he's washed his,
Several are at work in various offices and industrial estates
We move onto commuting, biking to work and finally a post of a bike

Made my afternoon - love it

 I've washed the other car since.

Might go take a picture of my bike now, although I haven't used it (litterally) in about 14 years.

At least no-one's posted a pic of their pet in a bike basket yet! (that's not a challenge)

The calipers I referred to were at least the ones on the car, not the bike.

My question stands... were those taken with the new camera? Also, have you made it off of auto mode yet?
