The September 2010 Photo Competition - COMMENTS GO HERE

This whole 'the picture must be taken by you' is a bit rough sometimes. What if its a picture of you driving thats been taken with your camera? Theres no way you can get a driving shot unless someone else does take it.
I dont think its exactly cheating, as long its not a pro shot that you have hired someone to take. Mods?
 
I thought that was the theme this month!

it's strange as that patch of discoloured surface wasn't noticeable until i viewed the image on screen. no oil leak btw, all is good.

In this instance i actually agree with the rules. If you havent composed the shot through the viewfinder and pressed the shutter button yourself then it just isnt your photo.

Exactly the point.... :thumbsup:
Pictures of your car taken by others are fine for a thread in the Gallery but not for the contest.
 
I never understood how a screen grab of a Z4 M from a video game that was entered once was allowed to stay in the photo competition! :? That breaks all the rules surely?
