Cheers. I laid a black and white layer with blue filter over, then messed around with the colour sliders until I got the effect I wanted. I was surprised to get the surreal clouds and what looks like an hdr effect (but isn't) I like messsing around with Photoshop to see where it goes. I am my own worst enemy when it comes to original shots discarded in favour of mucked about ones!
 
Petach, that's the first photo I've ever seen that makes me wanna buy an e89! Looks great!

Pity about the cars parked in the background though, shame they weren't crop-able (is that a word)

Bimmerboy, I swear we were separated at birth! I started to do exactly what you did with the yellow grass, but a post dinner snooze interrupted it and bang, there was yours!

All of you make me jealous, there's some great shots here and it was a tough competition last month. I tip my hat to you, i would love to have a good enough eye to take shots like these :thumbsup:
It feels like there's enough great images on this forum gallery to make a z4 tribute art book.

Hi, I agree the competition is STIFF, but I am a complete novice so it's a great learning environment to be in :thumbsup:

I am really interested in seeing a month where the shots are based solely on the luck of being in the right place at the right time, with the right lens, exposure and a keen eye etc, so hey WLH, would be nice to have a chance at a comp that isn't OPEN (i.e. no photo shopping) some time, what's the possibility of this?

Not a photographer myself but all entries so far are pretty damn good. Thanks to the 'competitors' for sharing them. Its part of what makes this Forum so good. :thumbsup:

Where was your photo taken - was it in the Chamonix valley up towards Le Tour?
 
Just been checking out the pics so far and i think this months comp could be a tough one,some great photo's guys keep it up :thumbsup:

Cheers Left. It is the barrage. I hung around for ages to wait for all the other cars in the area to move for a clear shot.
