I went for a drive down south on Friday and met up with another forum member.

He then preceeded to rip apart the front end of my Z :o

Luckily he started putting it back together with great expertise. He even changed my headlights to clear versions whilst helping me keep my trousers up by lightening my wallet

After he'd finished his work, we took some photo's and admired the result 8) His lovely wife even made us some sandwiches

I then had to head off to my sisters for the weekend, to see their new bundle of joy, baby Robert, born 24th September, 8lb 3oz, with a full head of hair :)

Lots of thanks have to go to CJ10jeeper, he really knows what he's doing when it comes to removing the bumper and headlights. The job got done very quickly, it would have taken me many times longer and I would have not managed such good panel gaps at the end.

I'm loving the new look, the white lights look a lot smarter, especially on a black car (I think Phils wife prefers the black paint :P )

Hmm, tell tale sign ... "last edited by" :P

Think Mrs CJ is getting tired of forum members coming for lunch? :D

I never managed to get CJ to work on my car though ...

Actually I was really impressed with the difference the lights made to the car. I had forgotten how much they 'lifted' it. Did not realise I was on camera, else I would scrubbed up a little and got my best tools out...

Mrs CJ was just being polite re the black (I think  ) and the reason we did not work on your car pvr was to do with sitting in the garden talking..

Seriously Herminator's a great guy and I'm always happy to help forum members. He has however left me a scrap centre light so I already think I have a micro project lined up.

Ah yes, I remember there was a good reason not to do anything

CJ - only just picked up on the purple carpet. Where did you get that from?

The CJ family live in a small village outside Lichfield, which is near to Birmingam. Big cities close by, but the beauty of open countryside through my rear garden.

Herminator is from way up North

Oh yes - that's one of Mrs CJ's old excercise mats. I keep them in the garage as they are the biz for kneeling on.

Perhaps I shoudl have asked Herminator to edit all photos since I picked up on a the recycling outside your house
