All comments welcome

can someone point out all the modifications its had? I know the front bumper and grills look different, spoiler, the clear rear lights, exhaust, Any more?

OK so somewhat blind as I don't know the model, but the black headlights I'll guess 2.5 or 2.2?

Exhaust tip
Front bumper cover
Side repeaters white
Rear third brake light white
White spot brake lights
Wheels
Boot lip spoiler

Hard top is an option

Nice example. I too run a Sterling grey of that era with all those mods (ok and perhpas a few more)

yes it is a 2.2. I needed one for the fuel consumption coming from a 330 bhp Impreza STI

Thanks for pointing the mods out. I am completely new to BMWs! Has anyone got some examples of aerials which I should go for? I take it people just fit a bee sting kind to the origional base?

For aftermarket wheels, they're really very nice

Not sure about the exhaust though, looks a bit odd and not quite straight.

You need the mango stubby aerial from Ebay in the US. Advantage is it's flexible. Search 'mango' on the board.

Sterling Grey and Red leather is indeed the best combo. Others may disagree, but they just don't have taste...

You have a great looking car. That's a great color combo, not the best but very nice nevertheless. The best mod suggestion I can give you is to trade your roadster for a coupe. :P

Thanks for the comments guys! The exhaust is wonky, I noticed that. apparently they often tend to be like that? Its an AC Schnitzer one? I dont like the way it sits, it's annoying! :x
The wheels are supposidly from California. 2 piece split rims,19"

There seems to be quite a few types. What do the majority go for?

This Stubby is great
Do these support the TMC-channel?

Someone said that the wiring around the standard Z4-antenna is for receiving the TMC-data..

I have no idea - I use TomTom Traffic to avoid the traffic :D

I still get Traffic information through the radio from traffic bulletins etc...

I still receive TMC without issue with the stubby aerial. In the UK TMC is sent through Classic FM channels, so the stubby is unconnected to it. Problem on the Zed is it's only a single channel radio (on the earlier models certainly) so you have to listen to the TMC channel or CD, else lose messaging
