Might have been posted before but just stumbled across this whilst looking for whether my car has isofix or not. My VIN reference not been registered on here but if yours has this should show you all options sold with the car.

If you stick your hand down between the seat base and back you should feel 2 big metal 'hooks' if you have isofix IIRC. Though the Internet is probably more reliable  :P

Have you checked http://www.bmwmregistry.com/registry.php

If you enter your details they will register it and put up the spec according to BMW's records.

You don't even have to stick your hand down. The isofix loops stick through the gap between the seat base and the back. They are easily visible.

If you've got isofix, you'll have the airbag disable. Airbag disable has a indicator light on the centre console in the same place as the sport button but to the left of the gear lever.

If you have a UK BMW, you can get the full list of options from the BMW UK web site.

Go to the website at http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/homepage/ and from the BMW Owner Area menu at the top, choose Genuine BMW Parts.

On the menu on the left hand side of the page, choose Parts Catalogue. Note the Username and Password (username 'eu111111' and the password 'bmwetk1') and then click on the link at the bottom of the page labelled Electronic parts catalogue. Find genuine spare parts and accessories for your BMW.

After logging on, this will bring up a window where you can enter the last 7 characters of your VIN, This then brings up another window - click on Options at the top of this window, and you should get the full spec as delivered.

Also useful for checking out cars that you are thinking of buying.

ZedFourM, tried to create an account for the Parts Catalogue website and i tried 4 different username and password variants but it wouldn't let me create an account... I give up. And yes the password i chose was between 6 and 10 letters including at least 1 digit.... :headbang:

You don't use your own account, you use the one detailed on the BMW page.

Hmm.. this is a bit odd. It says that my car has auto-dimming rear mirror when it in fact has a manual one...

You can get all the options for your car from the BMW website, in the owners section iirc. Just type in the VIN.

That's what the last few posts in this topic are referring to :poke:

Your's has probably been written off and rebuilt then :P

I think I may be in the minority hear, but I realy don't care what options I've got. I had no idea what options it had when I bought it and I still have very little idea. :poke:
