Seatbelt & Seat Removal Question

I have a '06 M Roadster with M seats (duh!). I frequently (once or twice a year) remove the seats and the only way I know of to free the seat belt from the seat back is to remove the whole guide with the 3 screws. The problem with that is whatever is inside the seat that catches the screws is loose. The last time I did it I barely was able to get them to grab.

As you see in the picture there seems to be separate pieces of plastic that make up this guide. Does anyone know if these pieces come apart so you could free up the belt without removing the whole thing from the seat?

As with most plastic trim, if you know how to remove it, it's easy. But if you try it the wrong way it will break.

The guide piece comes off with a little bit of effort, and is quite flexible. It simply clicks back into place when you need to refit it.

Thank you. Do I just bend it until it comes out or press a particular end in a specific direction?

I found the easiest method was to hold one end and pull the other toward it, so that you're sort of making the curve sharper.
After the right amount of pressure is exerted, you will find the end pops out and you can remove it fully.

I knew I should have taken photo's when I took out mine to fit the extinguisher and decided to give it an interior detail whilst the seats were out.
