Hi Guys

We are offering a limited run of coloured Kevlar/Carbon hybrid weave on our Z4M Intake.

The material is composed of a coloured Kevlar interwoven with black carbon. All prepreg of course. In low light conditions the Kevlar appears very dark but under light, the strands shine and the colour becomes more vivid. We are offering 3 colours - Red, Blue and yellow:

In brief, this intake is plug and play with no remap required. It produces 10-15hp which we have verified on many occasions now. Oh - it sounds awesome!

PRICING:

Since this is a special order material - the price is slightly higher than the normal prepreg carbon fibre, but then you get something very unique and limited:

Full black prepreg carbon system RRP = £600 inc. VAT Forum Offer £525 inc. VAT

Full Coloured Kevlar / Carbon hybrid system RRP = £650 Forum Offer £570 inc VAT

Delivery is £10 to mainland UK.


These will be made to order so I will keep this thread open for a few weeks depending on interest and then we will go ahead with production - which will take about 4 weeks.

If you are interested please reply with your choice of colour.

Stopitstopitstopitstopit - I sooooooo want one of these but it had been consigned to the 'after Christmas sometime' list... You just had to bring it back, didn't you ?

Though I'd prefer a silver grey Kevlar one to match my paintwork :D

Does the Kevlar change the sound at all ?

Sound is the same - just the top layer is the kevlar weave.

Red would give a nice contrast to the silver paintwork!
 
Great idea for a promo. Just keep your promise on the limited run!

Just bought a Z4MC with one of these and it sounds so good... you don't lose the bonkers top-end of the S54 or any refinement while cruising, but it is so nice when just milling around, exploring 3-5k RPM.

They look stunning & sound amazing.
My car had an afe intake on when I bought it & ive thought about upgrading to one of these.
But I've got a rpi exhaust so not sure if I'd even hear it!!
The red would look great on my car though.

I need to stop being on forums. It's either bits for cars or new watches!

Anyone use theirs a daily drive with one fitted?

Right there with you mate , Eventuri in my sights for a while now ( really like the look of these custom ones :) ) but having a dilemma with myself over a rather nice Oris Aquis :cry:

Those Aquis are very nice MrW! My only niggle is the lug style as cannot put it onto a NATO which most of my watches end up on. Looks as though I could only use their straps or a custom leather one.

And like me, you know you want both!!

A quiet 'tick' or a nice induction roar... which is going to sound better when you're on a hoon? :driving:

One i know will give me short bursts of pleasure , the other will spread the pleasure over many many years & then some :wink: oh & its a automatic :P
 
In that case, you have years to buy the watch but, with the rate you go through cars, only a short window in which to enjoy the intake noise... :wink:
