Now that is one cool and very good idea!jjarc wrote:I had an E46 with a slick feature on the passenger side rear view mirror. When you put the car in reverse the mirror automatically turns down allowing you to see the curb. This makes parallel parking without scuffing your rims an easy deal. I really miss this feature on the Z. Thought it was standard on all BMWs, guess not! Sometimes I park way out from the curb, other times I open the passenger door to see the distance, not willing to risk it.

Wonder if there will be a "sound generator" on this one?

The twin turbo will need one as the turbines will muffle the exhaust note somewhat, mmm and a free flowing open air intake to hear the turbines chuffing and chunteringBreaker wrote:Wonder if there will be a "sound generator" on this one?

I have just finished sorting the 'ultimate' set (well IMHO not bad looking) of 108's and need to get them photographed. Will never suffer lacquer peel again Shop was so impressed with the custom work he did and how it's turned that he's purchased a scrap 108 to restore, replicate and keep in the shop alongside his other show wheels.Adam D wrote:Group buy on refurbsDreamer wrote:108 wheels with peeling laquer. Re: What features would you have liked to see on the new Z4?
- heated steering wheel
- washer fluid reservoir that has a low-warning (as others have said) and which is also larger than 4L so that it can take an entire jug without needing to be bone dry first.
- rather than a sport button, a dial that allows you to incrementally adjust the throttle/steering input.
- if not full ipod integration, at least a simple stereo-jack to accept any AUX input.
- better standard sport seats
- a better armrest solution
- better radio reception
- an easily/cheaply replacable front bumper lip
that's it for now!
