Folks a bit of an overview of how I removed the passenger rear wing, I will focus on the troublesome bolt under the rear panel and not the rest of the removal process. The pictures hopefully show how I did it.
Essentially you do not need to remove the roof, the parcel shelf etc, etc.
Open the roof just over half way to take the tension out of the back of the roof. Once open you can actually pull the seal to the body forwards to pull it out of the bodywork. Pull it out about half way along the boot and to the rear of the door. Once out you can put your hand under underneath and feel the offending torx bolt that hold the wing on. I then used a torx bit and pushing the seal downwards, placed it on the bolt - I used a small adjustable spanner to then loosen the bolt, a 7mm spanner would be ideal if you have one. Please note you have to push down with some force on the seal to get the bit in place. It literally is a simple as that, it’s one bolt! Once the wing is removed it is just the opposite to refit it.
Any questions then give me a shout

This sounds like an absolute winner, Simon. Can we get it copied over into the Guides forum, I wonder?

Rear wing removal
Just to add for completeness... Looks like that wing has been off before? OEM wise they are GLUED in place and bolted on. Once the bolts are removed, you'll have a hell of a time pulling the wing off, but do it slowly and steadily and it will take time, and she /will/ come off. It took me a full day to remove just the rear quarter panels on my coupe. that glue is really really strong stuff.
