FERRARI FILM out 26th December
I'm very much looking forward to this too - I doubt I'll make it to the cinema but will catch it as soon as it makes it onto prime or whatever.
Senna was fabulous - as you say very emotional and sensitively done.
Side note, but I don't know if you listen to the collecting cars podcast? About a year ago they switched the format to Chris Harris + 4 other co-hosts talking bobbins, one of whom is the director of the Senna film (Manish panday) - a wonderfully softly spoken Cambridge graduate with a truly fascinating insight into senna and f1 etc. He also got the nod from Bernie Eccleston to direct that series on him through Netflix too. Quite a chap and fascinating to listen to. Worth starting from the beginning of the podcast if you've got time, the whole lot really is cracking fodder for car geeks if you're that way inclined!

Thanks Ed, I'll look his podcast up as it sounds like something I'd enjoy. The San Marino GP of 94 is a day that I'll never forget, I remember so clearly a friend telling me that afternoon ( I was planning on watching the highlights that evening) that Senna had died and l just couldn't believe it possible.......I class him as the Jim Clark of my generation.......a superb driver......albeit much more aggressive than Jim Clark on the track.

It sounds great, but I'll happily wait until it appears on Free to View!
Senna may have had something approaching Clarks skill, but he was ruthless taking opponents out which Clark never did.
I watched that GP live and couldn't quite believe what I saw, even if I never liked Senna (cheating b*stard like MS)!
BTW I've been watching "Lucky" on Quest that covers that era of F1 and found it fascinating.

I switched it off after a while and haven’t had the urge to restart it. Really disappointing.
