Competition Rules
Hi photo fans..
Just a question as to the rules regarding,,,"All photos submitted must be LANDSCAPE format (HORIZONTAL orientation) ".
In the latest , ie Decembers comp the winners pic is NOT Landscape mode ie its a vertical pic.
Now im not being picky, BUT, surely its against the rules to post a vertical pic when it clearly states HORIZONTAL only.??
Ive also noticed a few others over the months have been Vertical mode pics..???
Please can somebody advise me on this.??
Am i reading something into this thats incorrect.?
PS, Ide just like to add , the photo in question IS a worthy winner...

That rule was introduced when all of the entries were automatically made into a calendar at the end of the year. The calendar hasn’t run for years now.
I suppose the rules could be updated, but it has been confirmed on a few occasions when asked. The photo comp is a strange one - the proportion of votes compared to the amount of visitors / posts has always been incredibly low, and it has probably become a lot more informal over time.

Sorry for the question ahead of time and the answer is more than likely here somewhere. What date do you open and close a month for submissions? For example I assume March is closed for submission of any additional Z photos and that photos for April will start when?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Can I use a picture of a "rental" Z4 that I had for a few days and took pictures of it?
That Z4 was almost brand new and imported to Slovenia. But they decided to import the car as an used one so they needed to drive it for a couple 1000km for the car to become used instead of new. The importer was a friend of mine and as he didn't have time to drive around, he offered me the car and I gladly accepted
