Morning all,
I'm still on the hunt for some new/different wheels to the style 135's on my E86. I usually stay OE and I want to stay 18inch.
Thoughts on the 179?
Photo below - is anyone running these? I cant find any photo examples online of them fitted to the E86.

My first simplistic thought was that they look like squared off 108s.
Do they have the same inherent corrosion problem?
For me, the Z4 is a curvy car and wheels with straight edges just don't quite look right.
BUT............. that is only my perception.

I have to agree.
A more concaved wheel especially on the rear really suits the car.
These are very flat faced.

The extra thickness that the inner part creates makes it look like a tiny wheel.
I'd prefer Style 32 or Style 216 - which look better on the coupe than the do on the roadster IMHO.
But there's a whole thread with pictures of wheels on cars to help you choose...

After all, what I consider good looking, and you consider good looking, will not be what JamieZ4 would consider good looking

I also like the Style 216 but so many sets online have cracks and/or weld repairs they seem like a really 'delicate' wheel maybe best avoided?
