Bluetooth Upgrade and DSP

Post by WBCZ4 » Tue Apr 30, 2024 1:35 pm

Afternoon all :D

Need your help!!

I want to upgrade my stereo with an appropriate BT dongle to allow me to stream from my phone.

The car is currently configured with;

S609 - Navigation System Professional
S651 - MD Player
S672 - 6 CD Changer
S677 - HiFi System Professional DSP
S644 - Preparation F Mobile Phone W Bluetooth

The Bluetooth doesn’t seem to work currently and I suspect it’s due to the phone dock being suitable for an old Nokia!

Any recommendations on what I can do? I’m looking at the connect2 ctabmbt009 but not sure it suits.

Can I ditch the CD changer to utilise the Connects2 or is the system currently wired in a way it all needs to be in situ?

Ideally I’d remove the changer but also not sure if the sat nav and dvd are separate or all part of the same wiring loom??

I hear there are challenges with Bluetooth and DSP but struggling to find anything solid.

Thanks in advance

Any views guys ?

Sorry for the impatience, am keen to get it sorted.

Any recommendations appreciated. Will something like this work?

I’m guessing not. The more I read, the more complex it seems??

Thanks
