Can anyone who has fitted these confirm if the broken tab is critical?

Ali-Express have refunded me, but still need to replace the button :headbang:

Replacement roof button question

As there are two tabs and only one is broken then I'd be inclined to dab a spot of superglue on it and try to fix the broken one. Then once installed the other tab will still hold the button.
So in your top photo (underside) at the top of the photo there are two (one each side) clips that hold the button in place and allow it to pivot. What the tabs do is stop the button from resting too high, so when the button is pressed and released it returns to the proper rest position.
Hope that all makes sense.

And, in case you've not seen it, how to install these little buttons....

Thanks Dave, I thought that might be the case… but thought I’d ask first before taking things to bits

Video looks excellent, thanks.
