First real shakedown runs for Zedna and I'm extremely impressed. To think I bought little car almost 2 months ago with no MoT or Tax, a long list of fixes to make her right again, to now cruising up and down Scotland with (almost)no issues at all is very happy outcome.
I eventually found a seating position that works too .
Still to do:
Very obvious that whilst still legal the TRE's need done and new rubber bought for the front.
I've got a rattle that sounds like either it's heat shielding or is part of the exhaist baffles / resonantor come loose - only there under accel-deceleration / idle - (slightly).
Also, at stationary I have an 'engine' smell getting sucked into the cabin with the aircon. I've replaced the cabin filter (which was disgusting) but it's making no difference. I'm thinking either a small oil leak somewhere landing on hot pipe or an issue with the EGR system.
Then there were the fault codes, only appeared on the way home from Glasgow when it was chucking it down so I'm partially thinking that there may even be a bit of an electrical / wiring issue in regards to moisture. Pics attached.
Still, really enjoyed the car - took it up to 6K a couple of times and it pull consistently all the way, not blistering of course being a 2.0 but fun enough.
Time to start working through these codes amd maybe start on the roof too - time permitting!

Glad your enjoying it and good luck with getting the issues solved . Are you a soloist or do you play in a group / band / orchestra ?

Have a good look around the manifold area for cracks. Mine also has that annoying rattle but only when cold. I can't put my finger on where its coming from, i just hope it's not a detached cat.

Thanks Tug, aye - ive heard . I'm going to get into it when time allows, hoping its maybe a weepy rocker gasket leaking oil onto the manifold causing the smell.
