Spacers with eibach springs?

Post by Sef » Fri May 10, 2019 1:21 pm

Hi All,

I’m thinking of spacers to bring the wheels more flush (especially at the back)

My coupe has eibach springs and the front especially is low already (please see pic).

Has anyone got any pics of similar set up, eibach and bilstein with spacers? Would be keeping the oem wheels just concerned of rubbing on the front.

What’s the usual spacer size people opt for? Any links to decent ones would be ace :D

Thanks
Sef

Spacers with eibach springs?

My front spacers are either 10 or 12mm and it fits OK. Some guys fit 15mm on the fronts, but I was a little worried about clearance, so opted for the slightly narrower spacers.

I have 20mm on the back and can confirm you can fit 25mm rear spacers with no issues, on eibachs

I went for sparco spacers, purchased from Italian Ebay. They're 'bolt through' spacers, and are very light compared to my previous set of 'bolt on' ones.

12mm front 15mm rear on Eibach springs with MPS4 225F 255R

I didn't want to risk rubbing or increase understeer, hence the slightly smaller sizes than some use.

Planning on fitting 12mm JR wheels branded spacers on the fronts, already got 15mm on the rear from the same brand (tyre shop did it for me). Any clue what length front bolts i need? not too knowledgeable on the wheel bolt specs. Pretty sure the guys that did the rear mentioned they swapped in longer bolts, which makes logical sense.

I’m running 12mm front with 15mm rears, my car has Bilstein B4 dampers with Eibach springs.

Here it is with 108 wheels.

And with the 261 wheels

No rubbing issues with either wheel.
