Re: Lube
A very meagre amount of shampoo mixed with plenty of water works as a great clay lube and has no silicones in compared to most QD's on the market. Costs little and works best imo.

Re: Lube
Can I use any car shampoo and water with AG clay bar? Or should I only use the AG QD spray provided as lube?

I use the hand-in-plastic bag test to decide when it's ready to move on to another section.lacroupade wrote:Slight hijack.....and how do you know when its finally had enough???

Re: Lube
Your QD will be fine. If using shampoo, you wont need much and dont use a shampoo with a wax basis.ksher wrote:Can I use any car shampoo and water with AG clay bar? Or should I only use the AG QD spray provided as lube?
