Re: E85/E86 Car Key Memory (CKM) Settings
It's great for overtaking on motorways etc, just flick and it flashes three time, so no need to cancel.
Now I have the 1 series as my daily I forget in the ///M, so really hoping I can program this. Going to try tonight with a bit of luck.

Re: E85/E86 Car Key Memory (CKM) Settings
Just to say I managed to set the following tonight on mine
3 x Flash Indicators
Visual Indicator when locking
Visual Indicator when unlocking
Set the following but haven't checked
Car will relock itself if unlocked and nothing is touched.
Lock After Drive Off
Also set the following but doesn't appear to be working unless only come on with engine.
Daytime running lights.
Will look at other in a few days, but the 3 x flash has made my day.
Big thanks to Half Colin for bring this up

Thanks. There might be an issue with daytime running lights as it doesn't work on mine either.

Re: E85/E86 Car Key Memory (CKM) Settings
Which option did you set for seat memory?
After Unlocking And Door Opening
After Unlocking With Remote Control
I guess on door opening the seat will move to the correct position for the key when you pen the door where as the second option will move the seat as soon as you unlock.
One of them seems pointless really as they do the same thing, just with the door one you may have more chance of seeing it move.
Or am I missing Something.
Also need to work out about error codes and air bag reset just in case I every need them.

Re: E85/E86 Car Key Memory (CKM) Settings
I set move on remote - but I found you also have to set which seat position to each remote before it works.
I did this by pressing the seat position button on the seat and then once in position pressing the open unlock button on the remote - maybe a few times. You should hear a bit of a beep by the seat if you get this right.
It's useful to identify which key is which, 1 or 2, because you can program some functions differently to each key. I found out by first programming lock on drive off only on key 1. When it didn't work I realised I must have been using key 2.

I might give it a go, but as it's only me that drive it it not really an issue.
Noticed with INPA that our engine codes N52 and S54 aren't available so guessing it's quite and old version. Also need to sort DIS out as to what it cant see the diag head even though both the others work.

Did the 55 pages manual came as a book, or is it in the CD/DVD? I didn't get any manual. Not tested yet!

It's a PDF file on the disc. I'm feeling like a bit of a mong because I'm on page 15 and I've done something wrong! Think I'm gonna delete and start again and try to install in 1 go rather than half an hour here and thereDice wrote:Thank you Half Colin, got mine yesterday .Half Colin wrote:Here you goa11y wrote:Would be keen to hear what software you're using (and where i can buy a copy...)

Only if you unlock it and doesn't open any doors/boot then it will relock after two minutes.andysat wrote:You can get the zed to lock itself?
You need to find somebody near you with this software Andy, the 3x flash was easy to activate.
